"Personal Statements" – Chris Flory and Nancy Hayes

Artworks Gallery is presenting "Personal Statements," a two-person exhibit of paintings by Chris Flory and Nancy Hayes.

Chris Flory is showing small abstract acrylic paintings on poplar panels,many with landscape references. Ms. Flory received a BFA in printmakingfrom the Philadelphia College of Art in 1972, and a MFA in painting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1992.

Ms. Hayes is showing oil, acrylic, and gouache paintings plus lithography prints, such as the "Frogs and Wallflowers" print. She studied printmaking at Wake Forest University, and received her BFA in Art Education from the Univ. of NC at Greensboro.

The opening reception will coincide with the Gallery Hop Friday, June 1 from 7-10 pm.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
