Nancy Hayes Retrospective

Artworks Gallery is exhibiting a memorial retrospecitve of works by Nancy Hayes, who died early last year.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Hayes was a 30 year resident of Winston-Salem and a member of Artworks for almost 25 years.. She earned a BA from the University of Georgia in English, and a BFA from UNC-Greensboro. Her education was supplemented and influenced by many local teachers and courses.

Nancy loved animals and dessert. Her sense of humor, generosity of spirit, and creativity are evident in the art she produced in a number of media.
