Visit

In the Heart of the Arts

Located on the corner of 6th and Trade streets in the Arts District of Winston-Salem, Artworks Gallery is a convenient destination for Art and Inspiration.

Neatly situated among a variety of artist’s studios, galleries, shops, retail businesses, restaurants, bars, and residences in this eclectic area of Downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina–you’ll find plenty to do nearby when you visit. After you’ve visited our gallery, you’ll want to also stroll through the Art Park, nibble on some artisanal chocolate, or do a little window-shopping in our own gallery shop.

Gallery Offerings

Our main gallery space is flexible and ever-changing, allowing each artist to bring their individual vision to life and to the public, with the help of the Artworks hanging committee.

Artworks Main Gallery

Our main gallery space features one to two featured member-artist exhibits each month. Exhibits change monthly and are free and open to the general public. What’s on exhibit now.

Artworks Front Member’s Gallery and Shop

Our front gallery and shop offers a rotating variety of our members’ work as well as a selection of easily giftable items like paper goods and stationery, art prints, jewelry, and other creative goods.

Art*O*Mat

Our gallery also hosts an Art•O•Mat machine stocked with original works of art each the size of a cigarette pack, perfect for new art collectors and anyone who enjoys pocket-sized art. Many of our members are participating artists in the Art•O•Mat project.

Many of our members are a part of the 400 contributing artists from 10 different countries currently involved in the Art-o-mat® project–creating pocket-sized originals works of art for Art-o-mat® machines (retired cigarette vending art). Come pull the knob and see what you get!
