Mike Foley is a creative director from the world of advertising. He discovered painting, writing and filmmaking through the world of commercial art. Inspired by so many artists, he's thrilled to be a member of Artworks Gallery. Foley says: "I've been channeling Little Debbie since falling in love with Twinkies as a child. Like so many brands, she really speaks to me."
John Hamilton received his BFA from Tulane Univ. in New Orleans in 1985, and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY. He lived and worked in New Orleans early in his career. His work has always reflected the environment in which he’s lived, such as the ramshackle bayou settings of southeastern Louisiana and the surrounding Gulf coast. His most recent work after moving to W-S, NC, reflects “the rural ambiance through depictions of various livestock and people amid the various dilapidated, tumbledown trappings of agrarian life”.
