Jeremiah Miller
"Alone in the Woods"
April 3 - 28, 2012
Meet the Artist at the Gallery Hop and Reception: Friday, April 6, 7 - 10 p.m.
Artworks Gallery presents a landscape painting exhibit entitled "Alone in the Woods" by Jeremiah Miller. The solitude of the landscape offers Miller the perfect arena to explore feelings about his familiar environment while celebrating the painting process. These large-scale paintings are an improvisational synthesis of emotional and intuitive responses to the forest and to the formal and serendipitous pleasures of painting.
Miller is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art & Design. He has served as Artist-in-Residence for the Tennessee Millennium Project in Tullahoma, TN; the Kershaw County Fine Art Center in Camden, SC; Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, NC and Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC. He exhibits throughout the Southeast. He lives with his wife and cats in Belews Creek, NC.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
