Nelida Flatow and Emily Drew Mash

Artworks Gallery presents a two-person exhibit by Nelida Flatow and Emily Drew Mash. Ms. Flatow is showing a series of tropical parrots in pen and ink with some encaustic wax pieces entitled, "Still a Cuban Parrot." Ms. Mash is showing intaglio prints with mixed media and collage exploring unity in Nature.
For Ms. Flatow, a Cuban-born artist, parrots have been a consistent theme since early childhood. Ms. Mash is a cancer survivor who is dedicated to helping and encouraging others to lead strong and healthy lives. Her current work explores patterns and harmonies found throughout Nature.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
