"Pairs" by Beverly Noyes
"Near and Far" by Carl Gerike
Exhibit dates: June 3 - 29, 2008
Reception: Friday, June 6, 7 - 10 p.m.
Artworks Gallery is presenting "Pairs", with watercolors by Beverly Noyes, and "Near and Far", with oil paintings by Carl Gericke.
Beverly Noyes is showing a series of watercolors which are an exploration of the complexities of the usual and unusual complementary nature found in working pairs. Each half of the pair could stand alone but neither piece has the same presence without its partner piece. This dependent interaction is a phenomenon Mrs. Noyes has observed as typical in pairs of all types.
